Various songs written and recorded from August 2019 to January 2021.

"After my personal dissatisfaction with the Trained in The Ways of Men EP, I went on a quasi-hiatus for around a year, only playing occasional shows and releasing almost nothing. I think I wrote around 150-200 songs during this time. Some died in the embryonic stage, others were fully recorded and scrapped. 5 of them ended up here. This, I feel, represents the best of my work during this time. At least, the best work that is currently finished. As for the concept, I sorta themed these songs around the idea of change. Going from one phase of life to another. Unlike with past albums, I think it ends happily. It's a sort of declaration, 'Life has been a struggle, but I've made it.' That's what I wanted to say."
